Title:
The Department of Computer Science invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the area of AI and ML Robotics, and a solid research and publication record are required. Applicants must have proven experience in teaching and conducting research in the mentioned areas.
Applicants needs to perform the following duties:
- Follow the latest developments in the field of the job to enhance and improve workflow within the unit.
- Apply the university’s security and safety requirements to ensure a safe and suitable work environment.
- Teach academic courses in the field of specialization according to quality standards.
- Supervise graduation research and postgraduate theses (Master’s and Ph.D.).
- Provide academic guidance to students and assist them in academic and professional planning.
- Attend department and college council meetings and actively contribute to them.
- Participate in internal and external committees upon request.
- Conduct and publish scientific research in the field of specialization.
- Provide scientific consulting and participate in relevant conferences and seminars.
- Engage in community service through workshops, seminars, and preparing studies related to community issues.
- Strengthen the relationship between the university and the community through academic and research activities.
- Contribute to the development of academic policies and implement academic and research quality assurance standards.
- Any other tasks related to the position and aligned with the nature of the unit’s work.

- Priority is given to those who have experience in university teaching and scientific research.
