S&M Lab is committed to quality research output in highly ranked publication venues and the creation of strong links between research and the community it should serve. The lab objectives are to (1) conduct and publish high-quality research in structures and materials, (2) promote S&M Lab research in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, (3) enhance collaboration among researchers nationally, regionally, and internationally, and (4) attract grants for the Lab’s projects and sponsorship for its activities.
Qualification and Experience:
- Ph.D. holder in Mechanical Engineering or a related field for a postdoctoral position
- Enrolled Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field for visiting Ph.D. scholar
- Good publication record in ISI-indexed journals
- Good h-index and number of citations
- Be very dynamic and self-motivated to work independently and in a team
- Excellent writing skills in technical and research papers in English
Field:
Structures and Materials Lab – College of Engineering
- Finite element analysis using ABAQUS
- Implant design
- Composite materials
- Experience in artificial intelligence is a plus point
- Experience in additive manufacturing of polymers is a plus point
