Qualifications and Experience:
Head of Faculty
- A relevant PhD from a reputed university.
- Experience
- Knowledge of western higher education systems (experience of the UK HE system will be an advantage);
- Appropriate teaching experience in higher education (ideally at Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels);
- An excellent record of teaching and research expertise evidenced by a publication record that demonstrates ongoing post-PhD research activity.
- Experience in holding a senior management position in a higher education context;
- Significant experience working in international educational contexts, preferably in the Gulf region;
- Experience in, and understanding of, quality assurance and accreditation processes and procedures;
- Awareness of the implications of generative artificial intelligence for teaching, learning, assessment and research.
Lecturer
- Masters degree (PhD preferred) in the relevant discipline from a recognised university
- At least 3 years’ experience in a reputed Higher Education Institution
- Excellent IT skills and familiarity with recent developments in educational technology
- Excellent classroom interaction skills and interest in innovative pedagogy
- Internationally intelligible pronunciation
- Excellent research publications record
- IELTS 7.0 or equivalent
