Hamad Bin Khalifa University’s Qatar Environment and Energy Research Institute (QEERI) seeks applications for the Senior Scientist position with a PhD in Analytical or Environmental Chemistry. The applicant must have strong expertise in chromatography, mass spectrometry, and the analysis of emerging contaminants in environmental matrices.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Candidate must have a PhD in organic, analytical, or environmental chemistry with 6+ years of experience and a strong publication record.
  • Excellent oral and written communication in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research, including method development, sample preparation, and publication of research papers and reports.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory safety, quality processes, and adaptability to a multicultural environment.
  • Candidates must be willing to relocate permanently to Qatar.
