The College invites applications at the Assistant Professor level with a specific focus on environmental policy, sustainability, climate change, and energy transitions, to begin in the academic year 2024-25. The successful candidate will teach and supervise students primarily in the Master of Public Policy (MPP) program, and be expected to bring comparative policy analysis and global political economy perspectives into his/her teaching. In addition to a focus on policy, the candidate should have a proven research track record in environmental and climate governance issues, international organizations, and national government policies as they have grappled with energy transitions. A thorough knowledge of the SDGs as they pertain to development strategies and global governance is a distinct asset. In addition, candidates will be expected to have strong methodological skills which they can incorporate into their teaching and research. Familiarity with the country and the region is an asset. Evidence of administrative skills, and collegial research collaborations, are also required.

Qualifications & Experience
- A Ph.D. in public policy, economics, political science, or sustainability-related fields.
- 2-5 years of relevant full-time university experience in research, higher education, or closely related areas in industry, with evidence of increasing professional maturity and productivity.
- Research and scholarly achievements judged competent and adequate for the relevant rank in comparison with peers active in the same field at a major research university.
- A significant national, regional, and international reputation in scholarly endeavors (funded research grants, publications, etc.) in comparison with peers active in the same field at a major research university.
- The ability to work with and lead diverse groups, cultures, and communities.
