The College of Islamic Studies (CIS) provides a unique platform that contributes to critical intellectual debates on Islam in a global context, through its blended academic programs and an immersive learning experience; as well as its distinguished research division, which includes several research centers and clusters.
To deliver high-quality teaching of Advanced Classic Arabic language in different disciplines, plan and develop course materials, assess students, participate in academic activities, and contribute to the overall development of students’ language skills.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with 6-8 years relevant full-time experience, 2 of which at a supervisory level. PhD preferred.
- Knowledgeable in the field of advanced classic Arabic language in different disciplines.
- Have a strong passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with colleagues, students, and specialists in the Faculty of Islamic Studies.
- Demonstrate proficiency in curriculum planning, development, and assessment.
- Have experience in organizing academic activities, such as seminars, lectures, conferences, and workshops.
- Display creativity and innovation in developing educational materials and promoting students’ language development.
- Show commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with current trends in language teaching.
- Possess a solid background in Islamic studies, with knowledge of relevant principles, concepts, and terminology to integrate into language teaching materials and activities.
- Have a good command of learning and teaching technologies, including proficiency in using educational software, online learning platforms, and other digital tools to enhance instruction and engage students in a technology-driven learning environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English/Arabic. Written and verbal proficiency in the English language is an advantage. Additional languages are a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office Application.
