Qualifications and Experience:
- Essential
- A PhD or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience and knowledge of delivering Mechanical Engineering modules.
- A strong record of publications in relevant fields.
- Experience in conducting applied and theoretical research relevant to the subject.
- An active approach to inter-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary research
- A record in attracting funding for research, or demonstrate potential to attract such funding is desired.
- Desirable
- At least 2 years’ experience of teaching in higher education. Teaching and/or research experience in as many as possible of the field of Mechanical Engineering.
- Knowledge of contemporary teaching practices and E-learning.
- Publications in refereed international journals.
- Ability to attract research funding
