- Prepare accounts payable vouchers on a day to day basis.
- Prepare checks and ensure timely disbursement of the same.
- Post the petty cash vouchers into the Banner on daily basis.
- Enter payables in to system daily and respond to all accounts payable inquiries from vendors.
- Complete the Bank Reconciliation and report differences on a monthly basis for entries relating to payables.
- Review and correct the differences arising out of Bank reconciliation regularly
- Prepare relevant schedules for audit and provide necessary assistance in the process.
- Properly account for the monies collected and spent by the student organizations.
- Maintain accounts of “Donations & Grants’
- Reconcile and ensure sub-ledger to general ledger are kept accurate and updated.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and budgeting
- Developing accounting policies and procedures
- Ensure proper accounting of “Outsourced Revenues” and provide information periodically on collection from various sources.
- Provide AP aging analysis report on monthly basis.
- Possess knowledge of functions in areas of Store records keeping and Purchasing tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Director of Finance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in accounting.
- Five year experience in Accounting Management.
- Possess knowledge of accounting principles.
- Ability to maintain detailed, accurate records and prepare documents & reports.
- Well versed in operating ERP/ Accounting system.
- Knowledge in payable and project accounting.
- Excellent written and spoken English required.
