Qualification and Experience:
Applicants for these positions should hold a PhD degree in mechanical engineering in the areas of:
- Mechanical Design: Candidates with research interest in Mechanical Design Theory and Methodology, CAD CAE, Design Optimization are particularly encouraged to apply.
- Materials Science/Engineering: Candidates with research interests in experimental, analytical, or computational modeling are particularly encouraged to apply.
- Mechatronics: Candidates with research interests focusing on instrumentation and robotics with applications involving data science, Artificial Intelligence (or Machine Learning or Deep Machine Learning) are particularly encouraged to apply. Postdoctoral and/or industrial experience is desirable but not necessary.
