Successful candidates must have
- A PhD degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a closely related field,
- Experience in machine learning techniques,
- A proven track record of carrying out cutting-edge research demonstrated by publications in top journals/conferences,

- Excellent organizational and time management skills,
- Ability for research leadership, including communicating scientific results to the public at large, and
- Experience in mentoring student researchers to achieve their career goals.

- Suitable candidates should have earned their Ph.D. degree in area of experience or equivalent Natural Sciences (Mathematics, Physics)/ Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical)/ Business administration (HRM, MIS, Strategic/Organizational Management, Economics, Islamic banking & Finance)/ Humanities & Social Sciences/ Computer Engineering & Science. Also required, are the ability to demonstrate scholarship or achievement, and ability to cooperate with others for the good of PMU.
- Suitable candidates should have a minimum 4 years of post-doctoral experience in an academic career and proven track record of funding acquisition through grants and/or contracts.
- Suitable candidates should have extensive experience managing multidisciplinary research teams, high publication rate in ISI high impact peer-reviewed journals with mentoring experience with trainees to achieve career goals.
- Suitable candidates are expected to have excellent command of the English Language and should be familiar with technology infused academic environments.

- Suitable candidates possess a research-based terminal degree (PhD in a background in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, material sciences or related field), a distinguished and active record of sponsored research; a history of excellent peer-reviewed scholarship.
- Suitable candidates Demonstrated expertise and commitment to graduate teaching; and a strong track record of leadership, mentoring/sponsorship and personnel management, especially as it relates to oversight of multi-disciplinary and interdisciplinary research.
